Carter's 3 Year Pictures

Carter is 3

On Friday Carter turned 3, we didnt have a party until Sat. but at this age he doesnt even really know the difference. We just had the grandpas and grandmas over. His theme was John Deere tractors ( just like grandpas) I made him a cake with a toy tractor in the field, he wanted that tractor so bad, but had to wait till we sang to him, when we did sing to him he became really shy. He opened some presents, one of which was a kitchen set, now this was a big discussion between the families b/c some men in the family feel that boys should not be having a kitchen set , but I see nothing wrong with it. I am teaching him to be a good husband someday and maybe he will know how to prepare his own meals or be a chef :) And he loves it, hes been playing with it all day. He also got a toy loader, the Veggiestales Pirate movie, another movie, and a handlebar swing for the outdoor swingset all of which he loves too, but has not used as much as the kitchen set :) Now I have a month to prepare for Rileys B-day in May, John and I have birthdays in between there too, but we dont celebrate getting older anymore, its not as fun as when you were a kid. Then we get to await the birth day of our 3rd son.

28 Weeks

I am now 28 weeks along, 12 weeks (or hopefully less) :) to go. I hope they go quickly I am so ready to meet this little guy. I am getting HUGE!!! Anyway I had a doctors appointment today. I passed my glucose test, YEA!! and everything else they checked with me is good too. Baby is still very active and doing well also. I brought my neices along and they got to hear his heartbeat as well, they thought that was pretty cool. Now I start going every 2 weeks, which I was not prepared for I thought I had one more monthly visit, but that just means that I am that much closer to the end. Hopefully going more often will help it go faster.
