These look familiar??

Riley had to be in the Memorial Day parade in Zeeland and to those of you who went to ZCS as a child will remember these lovely jackets that we had to wear and they still have them, I wore these over 20 years ago!! They still have to hold on to wooden poles too. Anyway, we have not been up to much lately. The boys and I did head up to my sisters cottage at Silver Lake with my mom (John was driving truck and my dad was doing field work, so it made for a nice trip with my mother and the boys) My brother in law has a Jeep and yes, I did go in the dunes with the boys ( I did make sure to get the okay from the doctor) We had a nice ride around the dunes and up the hills. The boys loved it! The only thing that bothered them was the loud noise of the Jeep when we went up large hills. Riley has also finished school this past week and will be moving on to 1st grade in the fall, I can't believe it! I am so proud of him! I have a doctors appt. coming up this week, we will get to see if things are starting to move in the right direction. I am so ready for him now, but I have to wait. I will soon have another belly picture to post, until then, enjoy these pics.....

Riley's 6th B-day Party

On Friday Riley turned 6 years old, hard for me to believe! Hes almost finished with Kindergarden at ZCS and then on to 1st grade all day, every day. He was so excited that it was finally his birthday, he has to wait till Carter has a b-day and then my husband and I. He had school that day but at night the grandpas and grandmas came over after I took him to the Village Dipper for dinner and then we opened his presents and had some cake and ice cream. He then enjoyed trying out all his new toys. On Saturday we went to the Craigs Cruisers in GR as his fun day with the family. We played some Mini golf, he rode the indoor go-carts with dad twice and rode on the kiddie go-cart by himself and then we played the arcade games for awhile. I'm glad to be done with all the b-day parties, the last month has been a busy one! Below are some pictures of Riley's b-day party.

32 Week Belly Pictures

I have reached 32 weeks now, only 8 or less weeks to go ( hopefully not more) I am ready to be done and meet this guy and mostly to get him out of my ribcage! I dont recall being this uncomfortable with the other two. I feel like he is going to be a much bigger than my other boys. I have been going every two weeks to the doctor and things are still fine and moving along nicely. I thought it would make it go quicker too, but so far it still seems like an eternity before he comes. Enough ramblings, here is a picture for your enjoyment, try not to laugh to hard at my enormous size and sorry about the toilet in the background, thats the only place I can put the camera to take a self-pic. :)

Mother's Day

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Me and my boys, Carter and Riley and baby too!
This is what happens when I'm enjoying a nice nap, uninterupted, for Mothers Day and daddy falls asleep on the couch....I wake up to find that Carter got into the leftover birthday cake and first ate most of the frosting off the top and then put some candles on it. That explains his wet clothes too, he had washed his hands clean in the bathroom which was a watery mess too. At least he remembered to do that otherwise I may have had cake frosting all over the house too. A mothers work is never done, not even on Mothers Day. Hope all you moms had a wonderful day with the ones that bring us lots of joy and laughter (and sometimes pain and frustration too :))

T-Ball & Tulip Time

It has been a very busy week so far. On Monday my mom and I headed downtown with the boys to have some junk food and watch the Dutch dancers. I am not one to dress them up in costumes and take pictures by the tulips, so sorry no pics of that but I did post one of them waiting to watch the parade that we went to today. My sister and her daughter were street scrubbers for the first time, so we saw that and then the very long parade, I was kinda hoping it would rain b/c I was not really up to going, but it was warm and sunny. Riley also had his first ever T-ball game. He was so excited about playing and he did really good. Its not that intersting to watch though b/c they all get a turn to bat and then switch teams, then they play in the field and they repeat this for a total of 3 times and no score is kept, so everyone is a winner. But hes learning and having fun. So, tomorrow is another Dr. appt maybe I will post another pic, depends on how huge I am looking and then Friday is Riley's B-day so I will definetly have pics to post then.

Bowling

I had signed the boys up to bowl free for up to 2 games per day for the entire summer at Century Bowling Lanes and then bought a family pakage for up to 4 adults to do the same thing, it paid for itself the first time b/c John and I played twice also. You only have to pay the shoe rental and its only certain times of the day/night and not at all on Mon./Tue. but if your interested in signing up your kids the website is www.kidsbowlfree.com/century. So, on friday night we went to use the coupons and take the boys bowling for the first time. They were so excited and had lots of fun. They both got scores in the 70's thanks to the bumpers of course. They also have a rack you can set the ball on and it rolls downs that instead of younger ones trying to throw it down the lane, which Carter had no problem doing, but we may try it next time. Here are a few pics of them bowling and a funny video of Carter.....yes hes alright and now he likes to watch it over and over and we all laugh at it. :)
