Levi Cooper

Here he is, finally! Levi Cooper was born on Sunday, June 21, 2009 and 6:04 am. He was almost 2 weeks early. He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 20.5" long (he is the biggest of all my boys in height and weight) The labor was longer than the rest, but the easiest by far. My water broke at 10:00 at night (at home this time instead of the Wal-mart parking lot :)), got to the hospital at 11:00 which around the time the contractions started, but they were not terrible and I had an epidural by midnight, so not much pain was felt. Watched a little t.v. , took a little nap, then around 6 it was time to push and in less than 5 minutes he was out. So thankful for an easy delivery, I think the days after are worse than the actual labor, the epidural is wore of by then :) But we are so glad that he is here and healthy and a part of our family. He is our last baby, I had that taken care of while I was in the hospital, so I am trying to cherish every moment with him. He is a very calm and content baby, even with all the noise that his brothers make, so I feel very blessed. I could post a ton of pictures, but dont really have a lot of time with the 3 boys, but most of you that read this have Facebook and there are more pics on there.

36 Week Belly Picture

I have finally reached the 36 week mark, YAY!! The countdown can now begin, I am sooooo ready to meet him. I had an appt. on Thurs. and without going into great detail, I am a 1 and things are starting to move in the right direction. Now I go every week until I deliver, which is hopefully soon. I'm trying not to get my hopes up about him coming early, but its hard when the other two did. Anyway I have been "nesting" like crazy. I did this with all my pregnancies. I clean/organize cupboards, wash walls, I even painted the living room/dining room area, and I LOVE it!! I have even hauled down some of the babys stuff, now I just have to keep the boys out of it. I will leave you with a picture, the final one!

These look familiar??

Riley had to be in the Memorial Day parade in Zeeland and to those of you who went to ZCS as a child will remember these lovely jackets that we had to wear and they still have them, I wore these over 20 years ago!! They still have to hold on to wooden poles too. Anyway, we have not been up to much lately. The boys and I did head up to my sisters cottage at Silver Lake with my mom (John was driving truck and my dad was doing field work, so it made for a nice trip with my mother and the boys) My brother in law has a Jeep and yes, I did go in the dunes with the boys ( I did make sure to get the okay from the doctor) We had a nice ride around the dunes and up the hills. The boys loved it! The only thing that bothered them was the loud noise of the Jeep when we went up large hills. Riley has also finished school this past week and will be moving on to 1st grade in the fall, I can't believe it! I am so proud of him! I have a doctors appt. coming up this week, we will get to see if things are starting to move in the right direction. I am so ready for him now, but I have to wait. I will soon have another belly picture to post, until then, enjoy these pics.....

Riley's 6th B-day Party

On Friday Riley turned 6 years old, hard for me to believe! Hes almost finished with Kindergarden at ZCS and then on to 1st grade all day, every day. He was so excited that it was finally his birthday, he has to wait till Carter has a b-day and then my husband and I. He had school that day but at night the grandpas and grandmas came over after I took him to the Village Dipper for dinner and then we opened his presents and had some cake and ice cream. He then enjoyed trying out all his new toys. On Saturday we went to the Craigs Cruisers in GR as his fun day with the family. We played some Mini golf, he rode the indoor go-carts with dad twice and rode on the kiddie go-cart by himself and then we played the arcade games for awhile. I'm glad to be done with all the b-day parties, the last month has been a busy one! Below are some pictures of Riley's b-day party.

Riley opening up his presents. He got a guitar, games for his Smart Cycle, a skateboard, and some money.

Riley and his semi truck birthday cake that I made from a cake pan and then decorated to look like his dads big truck.

32 Week Belly Pictures

I have reached 32 weeks now, only 8 or less weeks to go ( hopefully not more) I am ready to be done and meet this guy and mostly to get him out of my ribcage! I dont recall being this uncomfortable with the other two. I feel like he is going to be a much bigger than my other boys. I have been going every two weeks to the doctor and things are still fine and moving along nicely. I thought it would make it go quicker too, but so far it still seems like an eternity before he comes. Enough ramblings, here is a picture for your enjoyment, try not to laugh to hard at my enormous size and sorry about the toilet in the background, thats the only place I can put the camera to take a self-pic. :)
